Job Title: Credit AnalystExperience: 5 – 14 YearsNotice Period: Immediate to 60 Days (Immediate joiners preferred)Job Description:We are seeking a skilled Credit Analyst to join our Global Banking and Commercial Banking teams. The ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting detailed financial and risk analysis to support credit decisions and maintain portfolio health.Key Responsibilities:Conduct comprehensive industry, competitor, ESG, and client-level financial analysis for the Global Banking (GB) and Commercial Banking (CMB) Relationship Management teams.Analyze financial documentation and supplementary data to support lending decisions and recommend appropriate credit structures.Prepare detailed credit analyses for both new and existing business relationships.Collaborate with Relationship Managers to assess climate commitments, low-carbon initiatives, and transition risks of clients.Build and maintain strong working relationships with Relationship Managers and Risk teams to ensure effective risk mitigation.Deliver high-quality work within defined timelines and performance standards.Ensure compliance with all internal policies, regulatory requirements, and operational risk guidelines.Contribute to process improvement initiatives and assist in the training or mentoring of new team members where applicable.Requirements:Education: CA / CFA / MBA (Finance, Economics, or equivalent) – essential.Experience: 5 to 14 years in Credit Analysis, Credit Appraisal, or Financial Risk roles.Sustainability / ESG exposure is an added advantage.Strong analytical, writing, and communication skills in English.Highly organized, detail-oriented, and a strong team player.Important Pointers:Experience in credit underwriting / appraisal with strong report writing skills.Expertise in end-to-end credit report preparation — industry & peer analysis, risk rating, documentation, collateral, etc.Solid understanding of financial analysis — cash flow, leverage, working capital, enterprise value, etc.Knowledge of financial and non-financial covenants and collateral management.Proficiency in financial projections and model forecasting.Experience in covering US-based clients preferred.Apply on Varalakshmi.Y@livecjobs.com7995831110
