The cover letter should clearly outline your qualifications for this position.More information about our hiring process can be found on the website under the Hiring Process menu.Job InformationPay Grade: Four (4) - Under ReviewWork Location: Onsite - OPS FacilitiesSupervisor's Title: Supervisor Criminal Intelligence MonitorEffective Date: October 2025Overall PurposeUnder the supervision of the Supervisor Criminal Intelligence Monitors, the Criminal Intelligence Monitor is responsible for accurately transcribing, entering, summarizing, and maintaining data from various sources.Major ResponsibilitiesProvide data entry and transcribing services for investigative units from various sources and prepare related documentation.Collaborate with team to convey, correlate, and synthesize data.Obtain and clarify information, receive direction, and accept feedback on work products.Adapt to unforeseen demands and shifting priorities when handling multiple requests.Attend court as required, provide testimony, and conduct oneself in a manner as directed by policy.Abide by rules and restrictions that govern data handling.Perform other duties as required or assigned.Statement Of Required QualificationsEducation and Experience:Completion of Secondary School (Grade 12 or equivalent) plus one (1) year relevant post secondary education. Experience and formal training combined may substitute for stipulated education requirements.Minimum of one (1) year experience managing a variety of complex, confidential and sensitive files, records, and procedures, and to securely protect private data and keep it safe from unauthorized access.LanguageFluency in other languages.Strong auditory sense.Good communication skills.Certifications and LicencesN / AIn service TrainingIn-service training on specific software will be provided.Job KnowledgeWorking knowledge of the organization's Mission, Vision, and Values.Effort and Working ConditionsVisual - frequent use of a computer screen while keyboarding for long periods of time. Must maintain high levels of concentration to ascertain relevant information. Performs work in a high security environment; in a locked room with restricted access. Desired QualificationsPrevious data entry experience.Typing rate of at least 42 wpm.Skilled in using computer software (Microsoft Suite) with strong typing and keyboarding abilities.Excellent listening and analytical skillsEffective oral communication and interpersonal skillsExperience resolving technical problems with equipment such as malfunctions.Extensive knowledge of rules and restrictions that govern data handling.Additional Competition InformationWe thank all candidates for their interest, however, only those selected to continue in the selection process will be contacted.Please save a copy of the job poster.
