Cooperidge Consulting Firm is seeking a CT Technologist for a top Healthcare client.This skilled technical role performs all Computerized Tomography (CT) scans and necessary general Radiology procedures under the direction of a Radiologist to assist in the detection of abnormalities. The Technologist provides care to a patient population ranging from critically ill to sub-acutely ill, spanning pediatric through geriatric developmental ages, while actively fulfilling the organization's mission of providing quality care.Job ResponsibilitiesPerform comprehensive CT scans on various portions of the body and execute assigned duties as a Radiology TechnologistEnsure all procedures are conducted with a full understanding and active participation in fulfilling the organization's mission and patient care standardsProvide care and service to a diverse patient population, spanning critically ill through sub-acutely ill individuals, from pediatric through geriatric age groupsCollaborate effectively with the Radiologist and medical staff to ensure high-quality imaging for accurate detection of abnormalitiesUtilize equipment and technical knowledge to acquire diagnostic images while maintaining adherence to all safety protocolsMaintain accurate and thorough documentation of all procedures performed and patient care providedPrioritize patient comfort and safety throughout the entire imaging processRequirementsEducationAssociate Degree or Graduation from an approved Vocational School of Radiology is requiredExperienceMinimum of one (1) year of CT experience is REQUIREDClient Location Notes:For Osceola Regional Medical Center roles, acute care experience is NOT requiredFor Free-Standing Emergency Department (FSED) roles, acute care experience IS required, along with the 1 year of CT experienceCertifications/LicensesState of Florida HRS General Radiography license is requiredARRT certification (R - Radiographer and CT - Computed Tomography) is required at submissionCurrent Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS-C) certification is requiredSkillsProven ability to perform CT scans on various body regions and assist in general Radiology proceduresDemonstrated understanding of the functional and developmental needs of pediatric through geriatric patientsBilingual (English/Spanish) skills are preferredBenefits Competitive pay with opportunities for overtime and weekend shifts.
