If yes, then we want to hear from youWe are looking for applicants that have experience in evidence based therapeutic interventions, assessing and managing clinical risk, and with a willingness to complete further training and development.The Children and Young People's West Cheshire Mental Health Team consists of experienced clinicians from a variety of professional disciplines with experience of providing therapeutic input, managing risk/complexity and multi-agency working.We offer a range of services, such as assessment, therapy, family work, group work, consultation and training.To Be Successful In This Role You Will NeedA recognised qualification in a relevant discipline, such as nursing, social work and allied health professionals.Experience of working with children and young people with mental health difficulties in a clinical setting Knowledge and skills in applying a range of therapeutic modalities, such as CBT, DBT, EMDR, or systemic therapyExcellent communication, interpersonal and organisation skillsA commitment to ethical practice and continuous learning Proposed shortlisting date is Friday 21 November.Do you want to improve the pathways for children and young people’s mental health services?You will have: -A high level of enthusiasm and dedication to providing quality, community based mental health services to children, young people, and their familiesExperience in undertaking mental health assessments and providing interventions & formulations to address the needs of the client groupExperience of working with children and young people who, due to their mental and emotional health needs, present with a level of clinical riskExperience of working under pressure and in a demanding, fast paced environmentTo have the skill to adapt and the flexibility to think on your feet due to the nature of your roleAccess to transport or have the ability to travel to a variety of venues as part of the working dayAre you interested?
