You will be part of the Enterprise Support Functions value stream, which supports Finance, HR, Procurement and ERP. Your initial focus will be on the Finance domain, where you will help modernize the way financial and operational data is transformed, modelled, and used for decision-making.In this role, you’ll make sure data from source systems such as SAP, billing platforms, and ERP is available, trustworthy, and actionable in our data platform (Snowflake + dbt). Rather than producing reports yourself, your main responsibility will be to design robust data pipelines and analytics-ready models that power dashboards and automated reporting.You’ll work closely with the Product Manager and Finance stakeholders to define OKRs and KPIs, ensuring they are measurable and continuously tracked in Power BI dashboards. Your work ensures that the Finance domain has reliable, scalable data foundations to steer Eneco’s performance and support long-term impact.Is this about you?A bachelor’s or master’s degree with a strong quantitative or technical focus3+ years of hands-on experience in a data role (Data Analyst, Analytics Engineer, BI Analyst)Strong SQL and Python skills in a cloud-based environment (e.g., Databricks, Snowflake)Experience with dbt and modern analytics engineering practicesSolid understanding of data modelling (star/snowflake schemas, KPI logic, finance/business processes)Experience with Power BI (or similar) to deliver self-service dashboardsStrong stakeholder skills, especially when collaborating with Finance teams and Product ManagersNice to have:Experience with SAP or other ERP/billing systemsFamiliarity with monitoring pipelines, CI/CD practices, or data observability toolsUnderstanding of Finance processes (planning, controlling, accounting) to contextualize data needsYou’ll be responsible forPartnering with Finance stakeholders and the Product Manager to define OKRs and KPIs and make them measurable through dataDesigning and maintaining data models and transformations in dbt, ensuring high data quality and scalabilityCollaborating with Data Engineering to extract data from SAP, billing systems, and other source systems into SnowflakeBuilding and maintaining pipelines that are monitored, tested, and automatedCreating self-service dashboards and metrics in Power BI, ensuring consistency across FinanceDriving a modern analytics engineering approach in Finance, including version control, testing, and CI/CD for analyticsTranslating complex financial and operational data into actionable insights that support Eneco’s strategic decisionsThis is where you’ll workYou’ll be part of the Data team within Eneco’s Tech organization—a collaborative group of professionals in analytics, data science, data engineering, and machine learning.
