About The TeamShopee will be prioritizing applicants who have a current right to work in Singapore, and do not require Shopee sponsorship of a visa.The minimum internship commitment period required is 3 months, and students who are available for 6 months would be preferred.Kindly note that you can only be considered in one recruitment process at a time within Sea Group and will be considered for jobs in the order that you have applied.The Data Analyst Team under the Buyer & Marketing Product Line is dedicated to leveraging data to drive strategic decisions and optimize product performance. The team focuses on analyzing product effectiveness and metrics to provide actionable insights. They collaborate closely with product managers and engineering teams to ensure data-driven strategies enhance user experience and business outcomes.Job DescriptionBuild an e-commerce product metric system, monitor data anomalies, and promptly identify product business risksProvide professional data support for corresponding business product decisions in e-commerce scenariosExplore and analyze data to uncover business opportunities or product improvement directions, and produce well-organized, rigorously argued analysis reportsActively promote various relevant departments to improve data collection and ensure the implementation of analysis recommendationsRequirementsFinal-year or Penultimate student currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Business Analytics, Statistics, Computer Science and Mathematics, Engineering or a related science/tech fieldA solid grasp of common statistical methods and applications (A/B testing evaluation, time series analysis), familiarity with common data analysis methodologiesExperience using data access tools, building dashboards and analyses with large datasets and multiple data sourcesFamiliarity with web analytics tools and data visualisation (e.g. Google Data Studio/Lumos/Druid)Full-time interns preferred
