Senior Data Analyst – Paid MediaFor a company in the retail industry we are seeking a Senior Data Analyst with strong experience in paid media, digital acquisition, and data-driven marketing optimisation. The role focuses on transforming large-scale marketing and platform data into reliable analytical models, actionable insights, and activation-ready outputs across multiple markets.Role OverviewThe position sits within the Marketing Activation domain, specifically supporting the Marketing Acquisition area, which covers paid media across channels such as Google, Meta, TikTok, and programmatic platforms. The environment is in a build-up phase, with a strong focus on developing scalable data foundations, predictive models, and privacy-safe activation workflows.You will take analytical ownership of key areas such as modelled sessions, predictive optimisation models, impact measurement, and data export pipelines. The work involves close collaboration with data engineers, data scientists, and product teams to ensure high-quality analytical outputs that support customer growth and commercial performance.Key Responsibilities1. Modelled Sessions Development• Contribute to channel grouping logic, metadata enrichment, and improvement of modelled session reliability.• Assess market readiness and validate data consistency.• Support alignment with System Master Catalogue requirements.2. Predictive Models for Paid Media Optimisation• Co-develop and validate predictive models (LTV, margin-based bidding, high-value actions).• Collaborate with product teams to design and integrate use cases.• Provide analytical input to enhance audience quality before platform activation.3. Business Impact Measurement• Deliver analytical logic and model outputs to track the impact of marketing activations on KPIs such as MAU, CVR, and retention.• Conduct exploratory analysis to evaluate adoption and performance of product components.4. Data Export & Activation Architecture• Support data exports from platforms such as DV360, SA360, CM360, and Meta Ads.• Join ad-platform signals with internal conversion and sales data.• Contribute to privacy-safe activation pipelines, including clean-room-ready data flows.Hybrid/remote setup with occasional on-site workshops in Sweden or other locations.RequirementsRequired: • 5+ years as a Senior Data Analyst within paid media, digital marketing, or acquisition. • Strong understanding of paid media ecosystems (Google Ads, DV360, Meta, TikTok). • High proficiency in SQL and dbt for analytical data modelling in BigQuery. • Strong Python skills for statistical analysis, ML experimentation, and automation. • Experience working with predictive or optimisation models (LTV, churn, attribution, audience scoring). • Proven ability to structure activation-ready datasets and work with marketing APIs or clean-room solutions. • Clear communication skills, able to align both technical and marketing stakeholders. • Comfortable working with messy datasets in a fast-moving product environment.Desired: • Experience integrating online and offline conversion data. • Knowledge of incrementality testing or attribution frameworks. • Understanding of first-party data strategies and privacy-safe activation. • Background in agile product teams. • Experience with retail or large-scale digital marketing ecosystems.
