Data Analyst

Title: Data Analyst (Data Curation/ Catalog)Location: Mississauga ON (Hybrid model three days onsite per week) Duration: Long Term ContractThe Consultant, Data & Analytics will play a key role in helping clients to unlock the value of their data. The role involves working with clients to understand their data and analytics needs and providing recommendations and solutions for data-driven decision making. The Consultant will work closely with other members of the technology and analytics teams to ensure that projects are delivered on time and within budget. Key Skills: Strong understanding of data analytics techniques and tools (e.g. SQL, R, Python, Tableau, PowerBI, etc.)Excellent analytical and problem-solving skillsStrong communication and presentation skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamExperience with project managementStrong interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships with clients Requirements: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field7+ years of relevant experience in data analyticsStrong understanding of data analytics techniques and tools (e.g. SQL, R, Python, Tableau, PowerBI, etc.)Excellent analytical and problem-solving skillsStrong communication and presentation skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamExperience with project managementStrong interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships with clients Responsibilities: Work with clients to understand their data and analytics needs and provide recommendations and solutions for data-driven decision makingConduct research, analyze data, and develop strategies to help clients unlock the value of their dataDevelop technical specifications, presentations, and reports to support recommendationsWork closely with other members of the technology and analytics teams to ensure that projects are delivered on time and within budgetKeep up-to-date with industry trends and best practices, and assess their potential impact on clients' data and analytics needsProvide training and support to other members of the team as requiredPerform other duties as assigned by the Manager, Data & Analytics.
