Data & Analytics Application Analyst

We’re looking for a Data & Analytics Application Analyst to join our client’s team in their mission to become fully data-driven. In this role, you will help transform business needs into actionable data solutions, enabling stakeholders across the organization to gain insights that enhance operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.The RoleAs a Data & Analytics Application Analyst, you will act as the bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams. You will analyse analytical requirements, translate them into functional specifications, and support the development and implementation of data pipelines, dashboards, and reports. You will also ensure documentation and alignment with enterprise data architecture.Key ResponsibilitiesAnalyse business needs and translate them into functional specifications and use cases for the development or reuse of data assets, pipelines, and reportsServe as the primary point of contact for business stakeholders, including directors, providing guidance and recommendations on reporting and analyticsCollaborate with stakeholders across departments to define and manage data roadmaps, including improvements, incidents, and new initiativesAssist development and testing teams in translating requirements into validated data assets, reports, and test scenariosDocument solutions and maintain up-to-date records of functional designs and requirementsEnsure alignment with existing business and solution architecture, consulting with enterprise, system, and solution architects as neededProfile & ExperienceIn-depth knowledge and proven experience with Azure data estateStrong understanding of analysis techniques, including use cases and scenario creationExcellent communication and stakeholder management skillsMethodical, precise, detail-oriented, and highly organizedProactive problem solver with a practice-oriented mindsetKnowledge of transport operations, preferably in the railway sector, is a plusMaster’s degree or equivalentExperience with Agile Scrum methodologyMinimum 5 years’ experience in a similar role (e.g., Application Owner, Functional Analyst)Fluent in Dutch, French, and English (spoken and written)Ability to work on-site at client offices at least 2 days per weekLegal authorization to work in Belgium
