About The TeamData Center Engineers implement the entire backbone data center infrastructure that ensures all Sea products and services run without a hitch. As a Data Center Engineer, you will manage the IDC facilities, servers and network equipment that run over server applications across all regions for our massive user base.Job DescriptionSetup and install server & network hardware according to business requirementsMaintain, diagnose and troubleshoot server & network system health and fix any issues that ariseDeploy and configure Linux & Windows server operating systemManage data center assets and inventoriesMaintaining detailed documentation of all server and storage configurations and changes made to them for auditing and tracking purposesWork with data center partners to understand and ensure facilities like cooling, fire suppression, UPS system, etc are working properly and in accordance with our requirementsRequirementsDiploma and Above in Telecommunication, Information Technology, Computer Engineering or related fieldsHands-on experience in Data Center operations, familiarity with facility management, server hardware and network equipmentFamiliar with Linux, Windows servers, and VMWare operating systemsFamiliar with setup and configuration of the server, enterprise network, and SAN equipmentPossess knowledge in installing fiber and copper cross connects for routers, switches, network and SAN connections to servers and storageFamiliar with upgrading & replacing internal system components, including CPUs, memory, hard drives, and network cablesHave a good knowledge of basic networking conceptsSet up DHCP scopes, TCP/IP (IP address reservations, etc.)Troubleshoot physical network systems to identify and fix performance issues (L1).Possess knowledge of HVAC/CRAC, UPS, Battery and Generator systems is a plusWork independently and have the ability to work under pressure with tight deadlinesFast-learning ability, willing to pick up new skills and technologiesHigh-potential fresh graduates with no prior experience are welcome
