Join us, grow faster ! Data Cloud Engineer (Data Platform Team) We are looking for a versatile Data Cloud Engineer to manage and modernize our Big Data ecosystem. Whether our platform lives on-premises (Cloudera) or moves to a managed cloud environment (AWS EMR), your goal is the same: ensure the platform is secure, automated, and performant. You will maintain our current infrastructure while actively preparing our data, security protocols, and metadata for a transition to a modern cloud-native architecture.What you’ll have to do: Operate, maintain and optimize Big Data platforms (HDFS, YARN, Spark, Hive, Impala, EMR) ensuring availability, performance and scalability; Provision and manage infrastructure using Terraform (clusters, networking, storage) in AWS; Automate operational processes and deployments using Bash/Python and CI/CD pipelines; Manage and optimize AWS services (EMR, EC2, S3, IAM, VPC, RDS, CloudWatch); Orchestrate and monitor workflows in Apache Airflow, ensuring reliability and failure recovery; Perform root-cause analysis of incidents and implement long-term automated fixes; E nforce security, architectural and operational best practices. What makes you a good fit: Experience with AWS infrastructure and cloud-native architectures; Hands-on experience with Terraform, Ansible and Infrastructure as Code; Scripting skills (Bash, Python); Understanding of IAM, networking (VPC, VPN, peering) and enterprise security (Kerberos, LDAP, Ranger) Experience with monitoring, logging and production support.
