As a collaborative data development professional with a passion for transforming data through clean, smart code, you’ll enable reporting for key business groups (including Strategy, Operations and Marketing).What You’ll DoAnalyze and develop data solutions, including automation, integration and unit testsCreate solutions that prevent data corruption while ensuring data consistency and reliabilityCollaborate with other teams and stakeholders to understand data requirementsEnsure technical solutions and system integrations are developed and maintained in the most efficient and effective mannerWhat We’re Looking ForAbility to explain technical concepts to technical and non-technical audiences, such as peers and business stakeholdersInnovative problem-solver and critical thinker with a customer focusAdvocate of smart, clean and maintainable codePassion for technology and data developmentWhat You’ll NeedA bachelor’s degree in computer science or engineering and at least three years of related experience (or an equivalent combination of education and experience) Intermediate experience in a chosen technology stack (AWS Glue, Spark, Python)Experience producing working code with limited supervision on relatively routine data development tasks Ability to design and implement functional solutions in a framework-driven dev environmentExperience with data lake, data warehouse and ETL processesProficiency with SQL and databases (Oracle, Teradata, RedShift)Experience with ETL design, scheduling and familiarity with scheduling tools like AWS step functionsExperience with a reporting solution (QuickSight, Cognos)Familiar with CICD pipeline, infrastructure-as-code solution (AWS Cloud Formation)Familiar with version control tools (Git)Ability to monitor, debug and resolve production issuesYou belong hereAt FCC, we’re committed to creating an inclusive, equitable and accessible workplace – one that reflects the communities where we live, work and play.
