Data Engineer

Akkodis is seeking a Data Engineer for a Contract with a client in Chicago, IL. You will design and automate data pipelines to collect, process, and enrich data for analytics and reporting.Rate Range: $49/hour to $51/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.Data Engineer Job Responsibilities IncludeDesign and develop automated data pipelines to collect, process, and enrich data for analytics and reporting.Write efficient Python scripts using libraries like Pandas, SQLAlchemy, and NumPy for data transformation and cleaning.Connect to and manage databases (preferably AWS Redshift) to extract, process, and optimize data workflows.Implement and optimize SQL queries for data retrieval and performance tuning across multiple sources.Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver scalable solutions.Ensure data quality and governance throughout the data lifecycle to maintain accuracy and compliance.Required QualificationsBachelor’s degree in computer science, Data Engineering, or related field.3–5 years of experience in data engineering and automation projects.Strong proficiency in Python with hands-on experience using libraries like Pandas, SQLAlchemy, and NumPy for data processing and transformation.Expertise in SQL for querying and performance tuning, along with experience connecting to databases (preferably AWS Redshift) and automating data workflows.If you are interested in this role, then please click APPLY NOW.
