Data Engineer (IDMC)

Job Description: IDMC ConsultantResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and implement Informatica IDMC solutions, including Data Integration, Data Quality, and Master Data Management (MDM) modules, tailored to meet business needs. Integrate IDMC with cloud and on-premise systems (ERP, CRM, analytics platforms) using Informatica Cloud Data Integration and Application Integration services. Build and maintain cloud-based data models for master data entities (Customer, Product, Supplier, etc.) and orchestrate data flows for ingestion, cleansing, validation, and management. Customize MDM workflows in IDMC, automate data validation and quality processes, and ensure alignment with data governance policies. Serve as SME for Informatica cataloging, glossary, data lineage, and metadata governance features, enabling self-service data discovery and stewardship. Collaborate closely with business users, data stewards, and IT teams to define and refine data requirements, solution architecture, and user access workflows. Monitor and optimize performance of data management systems, ensuring scalability, compliance, and security. Provide user training, documentation, and technical support on IDMC capabilities and best practices. RequirementsBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. 5+ years of experience with Informatica MDM and IDMC platform, including configuration, customization, and integration. Expertise in Informatica Cloud Data Integration, Data Quality, MDM Hub, and related cloud data management tools. Solid skills in SQL, Java, RESTful APIs, and web services for data migration and system integration. Strong understanding of enterprise data governance, compliance frameworks, metadata management, and stewardship workflows. Experience integrating IDMC with platforms like Power BI, Databricks, SAP, or Salesforce is a plus. Analytical and communication skills for collaborating across technical and business teams and delivering training.
