Job DescriptionThe **Data Engineer** will contribute to the development and maintenance of Moneta’s enterprise data infrastructure. This role is ideal for a technically skilled and collaborative professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is eager to grow within a modern Microsoft-centric data stack.You will support the implementation of scalable data solutions, contribute to ETL/ELT pipeline development, and ensure data quality across Moneta’s analytics ecosystem. This role is a great fit for someone who enjoys hands-on engineering work, values mentorship, and is ready to take ownership of impactful data projects.**Essential Responsibilities** **Build and Maintain Data Pipelines:** Develop and optimize ETL/ELT workflows using tools within Microsoft Fabric, including Dataflows Gen2, Pipeline, and Notebook experiences. **Support Core Data Platforms** : Work within SQL Server, Snowflake, and Microsoft Fabric environments to manage data lakes, warehouses, and integrations. **Collaborate Across Teams:** Partner with data architects, analysts, and business stakeholders to deliver reliable and scalable data solutions. **Ensure Data Quality and Governance:** Implement validation checks, lineage tracking, and documentation to support data integrity and compliance. **Participate in System Integrations:** Assist in building and maintaining data flows using MuleSoft to connect Salesforce, internal databases, and external platforms. **Enable Analytics and Applications:** Support the delivery of insights through Power BI dashboards and contribute to internal tooling via Power Apps. **Engage in Continuous Improvement:** Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and learning opportunities to enhance engineering practices.Qualifications 2–4 years of experience in data engineering or related roles. Proficiency in SQL and Python; experience with Microsoft Fabric ETL tools preferred. Hands-on experience with SQL Server, Snowflake, and MuleSoft. Palantir experience a plus. Familiarity with Power BI and Power Apps for analytics and internal tooling. Understanding of data modeling (dimensional and normalized), warehousing, and pipeline orchestration. Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
