Simple finances, big goals.About The RoleWe’re looking for a Data Engineer to design, build, and maintain scalable data infrastructure that supports analytics, reporting, and decision-making across the company. In this role, you’ll develop and optimize ETL/ELT pipelines, integrate data from multiple sources, and ensure system reliability and performance. You’ll work with analysts and data scientists to improve data quality, streamline processing, and enhance overall efficiency of our data ecosystem.Key Responsibilities:Design and Development of Data Infrastructure:Design, build, and maintain scalable data architectures, including ETL/ELT pipelines and data warehouses (DWH)Set up and support big data processing systemsData Integration:Collect, transform, and integrate data from various internal and external sourcesEnsure reliable and timely data availability for analytics and reporting systemsPerformance Optimization:Optimize data storage, processing workflows, and query performance to improve system efficiency and scalabilityIdentify and resolve performance bottlenecks in data pipelines and databasesExperience with Big Data technologies (e.g., Apache Spark) and PostgreSQLHands-on experience with various types of data storage systems: columnar, document-oriented, and key-value databasesProven ability to design and implement ETL processes, including working with common ETL toolsPractical experience in data processing using Python and PL/SQLSolid understanding of both batch and streaming data processing architecturesProficiency in working with SQL-based databasesStrong skills in performance tuning and debugging of data pipelines and queriesEnglish level — B2 (Upper-Intermediate): confident reading of technical documentation, professional correspondence, and participation in meetings and discussions in EnglishWhat We OfferFully remote work formatOfficial employment under the Russian Labor Code (if residing in Russia); contractor collaboration possible from other countriesOpportunity to work in an international team on a new digital product in the Mexican marketWork in a data-driven environment where your contributions have real impact
