Data Governance Lead / ManagerDomain: Banking & Financial Services / FinTech / Digital Payments.Location: Colombo, Sri LankKey ResponsibilitiesLead the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of enterprise data governance frameworks, policies, and processes aligned with business strategy.Establish and oversee data stewardship models, roles, and accountabilities across business and technology functions.Develop and maintain comprehensive governance across metadata management, data quality, master data management, and data security.Partner with stakeholders to ensure compliance with banking and financial regulatory requirements and alignment with enterprise data management objectives.Drive adoption of data governance practices across the organization, fostering a data stewardship culture and ensuring measurable business impact.Implement and manage data governance tools and platforms (e.g., Collibra, Informatica), defining KPIs to monitor and optimize governance effectiveness.Collaborate with architecture, analytics, and data science teams to align governance with data architecture principles, AI/ML initiatives, and emerging data technologies.Manage data governance initiatives across multi-cloud environments to ensure consistent standards and data protection.Qualifications & ExperienceEducation: Bachelor’s degree or higher in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).Experience:12+ years of total experience, with at least 8+ years in data management, data governance, or related domains.Proven leadership in designing and implementing large-scale data governance programs for enterprise organizations.Strong familiarity with Banking and Financial Services domains, including enterprise data assets and regulatory frameworks.Demonstrated success in client consulting, translating business needs into effective governance strategies and frameworks.Expertise in data quality management, metadata management, master data management, and data security governance.Experience leading cross-functional teams and managing stakeholder engagement from operational to executive levels.Hands-on knowledge of data governance tools and platforms (e.g., Collibra, Informatica).Understanding of cloud data governance and multi-cloud management (preferred).Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.DM @ What’s App +6560275490Assistant Talent Acquisition ManagerAna( Anamica)Anamica.kumari@nityo.comDesk Number- 6531522521What’s App +917667035476/+6560275490
