By empowering our teams to grow and innovate, we are transforming how we build- together.Role OverviewThe Data Governance Specialist is responsible for implementing and operationalizing AMANA’s data governance framework. The role focuses on ensuring data ownership, data quality, compliance, and metadata management to enable reliable, secure, and value-driven data usage across the organization.Key ResponsibilitiesImplement and maintain the data governance framework and standards across business units.Deploy and manage data governance tools such as Collibra, Informatica, or similar platforms.Conduct data profiling to assess accuracy, consistency, completeness, and integrity.Define and monitor data quality metrics and establish rules for data validation.Develop and maintain metadata repositories and ensure up-to-date documentation of data sources and lineage.Support data privacy, protection, and compliance with local and international regulations (e.g., PDPL).Collaborate with data stewards, cybersecurity, and business teams to ensure alignment with governance policies.Identify and resolve data ownership and accountability gaps across departments.Generate regular reports and dashboards to track governance performance and data quality improvements.Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance data management maturity and governance adoption.Promote data stewardship culture through awareness, training, and best-practice sharing.Support the integration of governance practices within enterprise data management and analytics initiatives.Experience and Skills Requirements:Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Data Analytics, or a related discipline.Minimum 5 years of experience in data management, governance, or a related field.Strong knowledge of data governance frameworks, data quality management, and data control processes.Hands-on experience with data governance tools (e.g., Informatica, Collibra, IDMC, Oval Edge, or similar).Familiarity with data management technologies, such as data warehousing and data cataloging systems.Excellent analytical, communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.Ability to work effectively independently and in cross-functional teams.Preferable certification: DAMA, Informatica, or equivalent professional certifications are an advantage.What makes a true AMANAian?: We know that our company growth and success come from our people who continuously drive our company, partners and clients forward.
