Data Governance Specialist (IT consultancy)

Your new company An IT solutions consultancy is looking for an experienced Data Governance Specialist to join their team.Your new role Draft, maintain, and implement data governance policies, standards, and procedures across the organization.Collaborate with business units to assess practices, identify gaps, and support policy adoption.Establish a governance framework ensuring consistent data handling, access control, and regulatory compliance.Facilitate communication, training, and documentation to promote governance awareness and support internal/external audits.What you'll need to succeed Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/ Information SystemsOver 3 years of experience in data governance, compliance, and information management.Strong grasp of governance frameworks, with familiarity in ISO/IEC 27001 and DAMA-DMBOK.Skilled in documentation, policy writing, and audit preparation with excellent communication abilities.Proven stakeholder engagement and cross-functional collaboration across diverse business units.Knowledge of data privacy regulations; experience with cloud platforms and fast-paced environments preferred.What you'll get in return In return, you'll be part of an organization that values its employees.
