Its post-trade solutions offering helps market participants control their counterparty and regulatory risks through a growing range of tools that manage balance-sheet exposure, as well as compression and optimisation services. The Data & Analytics division includes the following brands: Tullett Prebon Information, PVM Data Services, ICAP Information and Burton-Taylor Consulting.Role OverviewThe Data Management Specialist plays a critical role in ensuring the accuracy, accessibility, and security of sales-related data. This role is responsible for developing and implementing data management strategies, maintaining high-quality databases, and partnering with sales, IT, and other business functions to optimize the use of data for commercial effectiveness.By providing robust analytics, insights, and governance, the specialist will help drive informed decision-making, improve operational efficiency, and enhance the overall sales process.Key ResponsibilitiesData Strategy & GovernanceDevelop and implement data management strategies, policies, and procedures aligned with sales and business objectives.Define and enforce data governance standards to ensure accuracy, consistency, and compliance with regulatory requirements.Establish data quality frameworks, including cleansing, enrichment, and validation processes.Database Management & SecurityDesign, maintain, and optimise databases (SQL, Oracle, or NoSQL) to support sales operations and reporting.Implement security measures to safeguard sensitive sales data and ensure compliance with data privacy regulations.Monitor system performance and proactively resolve database-related issues.Analytics & InsightsAnalyse sales and customer data to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for commercial growth.Create and maintain dashboards and reports (Tableau, Power BI, Salesforce, or equivalent) for sales leadership and stakeholders.Provide insights on the health and integrity of transactional and master data within Salesforce.Collaboration & Stakeholder SupportPartner with Sales, IT, Compliance, and other departments to define data requirements and support data-driven initiatives.Translate business needs into technical requirements for data collection, storage, and reporting.Support sales teams by providing training, documentation, and guidance on data management best practices.Continuous ImprovementIdentify opportunities to streamline data processes and enhance reporting efficiency.Contribute to automation initiatives that improve accuracy and reduce manual effort in data management.Stay current on emerging data technologies and best practices, recommending adoption where beneficial.Experience & CompetenciesEssentialDatabase management expertise with SQL Server, Oracle, or NoSQL databases.Data analysis and reporting skills, with experience using Tableau, Power BI, or equivalent BI tools.Strong data governance knowledge, including cleansing, enrichment, and compliance frameworks.Technical proficiency with data management tools and security principles.Problem-solving ability to identify, investigate, and resolve data quality issues.Communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.Attention to detail with a methodical approach to managing large and complex data sets.Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Management, or a related field (or equivalent experience).DesiredExperience managing sales-related data in Salesforce or similar CRM platforms.Knowledge of data modeling techniques to design efficient and scalable data structures.Experience in training and documentation to support non-technical stakeholders in using data effectively.Familiarity with automation tools and process improvement methodologies.Background in financial services, fintech, or subscription-based businesses where sales and client data management are critical.Exposure to regulatory environments and understanding of compliance requirements for data management.Job Band & LevelProfessional / 5#PARAMETA Not The Perfect Fit?Concerned that you may not meet the criteria precisely?
