You will be responsible for contributing to the development industry-leading machine learning / AI algorithms. This position is an opportunity to be part of a fast-growing and globally focused network of data scientists, machine learning engineers, and AI practitioners developing novel approaches to personalization and recommender engines. You will have also have access to world class academics though our partnerships and joint contracts with universities, as well as our staff of engineers and researchers.Our flexible/ hybrid work schedule includes 3 in-person days at one of our core locations and 2 remote days. Our core office locations include Salisbury, NC, Chicago, IL, Quincy, MA.Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.Duties & Responsibilities:Create algorithms to better personalize every customer touch pointDevelop our core algorithms with strong methodological rigorIdentify strengths, weaknesses, and potential biases of modeling componentsConsult with our brands and business partners to create ML/AI solutions to their largest business challengesAssist Machine Learning Engineers in the development of SDKs for rapid prototyping and deployment of algorithmsBuild robust experimentation algorithms to continually improve existing algorithmsQualifications:Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Economics; Master's Degree preferred3+ years of applied Data Science experience2+ years of experience deploying, scaling, and continually improving algorithmsBroad industry experience with ML/AI/GenAI and commonly used statistical methodsExpert recommender systems and personalization algorithmsExpert hands-on knowledge of current AI/GenAI solutionsFluent knowledge and experience with using LLMsAbove 95th percentile coding ability in Python and PySparkDeep understanding of, and experience applying, the following ML concepts:Collaborative filteringLinear and scalar algebraAssociation rule miningRanking algorithmsAdvanced regression, classification, clustering, and time series algorithmsAutomated hyperparameter tuning and model selectionCausal inference modeling at scale for algorithm testing and evaluationDeep learning at scale for NLPPreferred Qualifications:Experience with advanced search concepts using deep learning #DICEJobs NC Salary Range: $75,040 - $112,560IL/MA Salary Range: $86,320 - $129,480All ADUSA job offers take multiple factors into consideration including, but not limited to salary range, internal equity, a candidate's qualifications, geographic region, job-related knowledge and skills.
