Database Administrator

The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating, installing and managing our databases. You will ensure optimal database performance by analyzing database issues and monitoring database performance.ResponsibilitiesBuild database systems of high availability and quality depending on each end user’s specialised roleDesign and implement database in accordance to end users information needs and viewsDefine users and enable data distribution to the right user, in appropriate format and in a timely mannerUse high-speed transaction recovery techniques and backup dataMinimise database downtime and manage parameters to provide fast query responsesProvide proactive and reactive data management support and training to usersDetermine, enforce and document database policies, procedures and standardsPerform tests and evaluations regularly to ensure data security, privacy and integrityMonitor database performance, implement changes and apply new patches and versions when requiredQualificationsBS degree in a computer disciplineProven working experience as a Database Administrator for 3+ yearsHands-on experience with database standards and end user applicationsUsing tools PostgreSQL, SQL Server and OracleExcellent knowledge of data backup, recovery, security, integrityFamiliarity with database design, documentation and codingPrevious experience with DBA case tools (frontend/backend) and third party toolsFamiliarity with programming languages APIProblem solving skills and ability to think algorithmicallyWilling to be placed in a banking or financial companyHaving certification Willing to be placement at Bandung - West Java
