DBA Team Lead

We deliver only the best, so we are always in search of the best people to join our ever-growing talented team.We are seeking a highly skilled and hands-on DBA Team Lead with strong expertise in AWS RDS PostgreSQL and MySQL, complemented by experience with Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform) and configuration management (Ansible).This role combines deep technical expertise with leadership responsibility. You will lead a team of 3–4 DBAs, drive best practices, ensure high availability and security of our database environments, and contribute strategically to the evolution of our database architecture.Responsibilities: Lead and mentor a team of 3–4 DBAs, acting as the main technical escalation pointOwn the reliability, performance, scalability, and security of PostgreSQL and MySQL environments (AWS RDS and on-prem)Design and implement high availability, failover, load balancing, backup, and disaster recovery solutionsOversee database provisioning, upgrades, migrations, and performance optimizationDrive automation using Terraform (IaC) and Ansible for consistent and scalable infrastructure managementEnsure proper monitoring, alerting, and proactive capacity planningManage Linux environments hosting databases, including tuning and security hardeningCollaborate with Engineering, DevOps, Security, and Data teams on architecture and operational improvementsMaintain documentation and participate in on-call rotationRequirements: Strong hands-on experience with PostgreSQL and MySQL in production (AWS RDS preferred)Proven experience leading or mentoring a technical teamSolid expertise in high availability, failover, load balancing, and disaster recovery designHands-on experience with Terraform and AnsibleStrong Linux administration and scripting skills (Bash, Python)Experience with monitoring tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana)Ability to manage complex environments in high-load, mission-critical systemsExperience with ClickHouse, MongoDB, Redshift, or MS SQL Server is a plusBackground in fintech or trading platforms is an advantageWhat you will get in return: Competitive Salary: We believe great work deserves great pay!
