Delivery Driver

We are looking for a responsible, organized, and safety-conscious driver to join our team. In this role, the driver will pick up materials and transport them between our locations, as well as make deliveries directly to project sites. Were looking for someone who has a proven track record of safe, skillful driving. The ideal candidate will enjoy being behind the wheel, seeing new places, and meeting new people.Objectives of this roleDeliver materials to designated locations in a timely fashion Comply with all traffic laws and company safety regulationsMaintain a clean and operational vehicle Represent the company positively and professionally in interactions with customers and the general publicGain a thorough understanding of the local area and the most efficient routesOperate company vehicles to make pickups and deliveriesHelp with loading and unloading in and out of the vehiclesComplete pre- and post-trip safety and operations checklists and documentationUse navigational technology to find and follow optimal routesAssist with regular vehicle inspections, arranging maintenance when necessaryRefuel vehicles and ensure that it is always ready for use Valid drivers licenseClean driving record for at least 3 yearsAbility to drive for extended periodsStrong commitment to safetyExcellent navigational skillsGood communication and interpersonal skillsPreferred Skills And QualificationsValid commercial drivers licenseExperience driving in a professional capacityExperience using GPS technologyExcellent time management and organizational skillsAbility to perform basic vehicle maintenanceFamiliarity with the local area
