With a proven and much-loved product, the business is experiencing significant growth, and is about to exceed $20m of annual transaction value.The RoleAs our first Delivery Lead, you’ll play a defining role in shaping the future of an established technology platform that connects local food businesses with customers seeking authentic, high-quality meals. This is a rare opportunity to shape a function from the ground up, driving delivery excellence, building team rhythms, and ensuring every initiative moves from idea to impact with precision and pace.This is an ideal role for someone who thrives on bringing structure to creativity, turning vision into execution, aligning cross-functional teams, and delivering meaningful outcomes. Responsibilities include:Execution & Delivery OversightOwnership for the timely and predictable delivery of the product roadmap.Own and coordinate the end-to-end release process, ensuring smooth deployment into production environments in coordination with the Dev team.Proactively identify, track, escalate, and resolve impediments that hinder the team's progress.Take ownership of Quality Assurance processes - refining existing practices (e.g. Acceptance criteria, Definition of Done), actively hands-on testing and managing delegation to other team members.Use data to identify gaps and improve operational efficiency.Deliver initiatives that improve cook onboarding, customer experience, and overall platform performance.Agile OptimisationChampion and coach the team in Agile methodologies, fostering continuous improvement and effective collaboration.Establish and track delivery metrics to drive data-led retrospectives and improvements.Continuously refine team processes to enhance predictability, quality, and value.Facilitate key planning sessions (sprint, quarterly, backlog) to ensure realistic commitments and optimal team capacity.Cross-Functional LeadershipFacilitate collaboration between engineering, design and internal/external stakeholders - providing transparent and accurate updates on progress, risks, and forecasting.Monitor resource allocation and time tracking against the delivery budget to ensure delivery remains commercially viable.The requirements4+ years in delivery leadership or product delivery, ideally within a B2B or B2C marketplace or an emerging SaaS platform.Demonstrated experience applying Agile principles to improve delivery flow, team collaboration, and product outcomes.Comfortable balancing near-term execution with long-term delivery planning.Proven ability to use data and qualitative insight to inform prioritisation and delivery decisions.Experience in collaborating with engineering, design, product, customer success, and marketing teams to align delivery goals.Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and build alignment across teams.Now is an exciting time to join this emerging tech platform and help shape the future direction.
