Delivery Lead (Data and AI)

Role OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Delivery Lead – Data & AI to drive end-to-end execution of large-scale data and AI programs. You will coordinate multi-disciplinary teams, ensure delivery excellence, manage senior stakeholders, and provide strong leadership across complex engagements.This role requires:Strong delivery leadership and program governanceDeep understanding of data platforms, analytics, and AI soslution lifecycleProven ability to manage dependencies, risks, and client expectationsConfidence leading cross-functional teams in fast-paced environmentsWhat will you do?Project Delivery & ExecutionLead full lifecycle delivery of Data & AI initiatives, ensuring quality, timeline adherence, and budget control.Define delivery roadmaps, milestones, and success metrics aligned to business and client outcomes.Coordinate cross-functional teams to manage dependencies and ensure cohesive execution.Drive risk management, issue resolution, and quality assurance across all phases.Stakeholder & Client ManagementServe as the primary delivery contact, ensuring transparent communication and alignment.Present progress, risks, and outcomes to senior stakeholders, including C-level executives.Build trusted client relationships to ensure satisfaction, successful delivery, and long-term engagement.Provide clear escalation paths and timely issue resolution.Team Leadership & EnablementMentor project managers, leads, and delivery teams to build strong delivery capabilities.Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.Ensure consistent use of delivery methodologies, frameworks, and best practices across teams.Guide teams using both Agile and Waterfall approaches where appropriate.Governance & Operational ExcellenceEstablish and run governance processes, steering committees, and reporting frameworks.Monitor project performance, resource utilization, and financial health of programs.Ensure compliance with standards, policies, and (where applicable) ethical AI principles.Identify opportunities to automate processes and improve delivery efficiency.The ideal candidate should possess:Technical & Delivery Expertise10–15+ years of Data & AI program/project delivery experience, with at least 5 years in senior project leadership or program delivery roles.Proven track record delivering complex Data & AI initiatives involving data platforms, analytics, engineering, AIML, Optimization, GenAI and AgenticAI.Strong understanding of data architectures, cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP), and AI model lifecycle management.Experience managing multi-stream programs and coordinating cross-functional teams.Stakeholder & Leadership SkillsExcellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving abilities.Strong experience in stakeholder engagement, including C-suite communications.Skilled in project financial management, budgeting, and cost control.Able to operate under tight deadlines and shifting priorities.Preferred QualificationsBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or related fields.Experience in consulting or system integration environment.Public sector SI experience is a strong advantage.Familiarity with both Agile and Waterfall methodologies.Why Join NCSLead high-impact Data & AI transformation programs.Opportunity to mentor and develop next-generation delivery talent.Collaborative, forward-thinking work culture focused on excellence.Competitive compensation with performance-driven growth opportunities.
