Our customers walk out with new items every time they visit any of our stores.Role Purpose:The Demand Planner is responsible for forecasting customer demand, managing inventory levels, and ensuring product availability across all retail channels. This role plays a critical part in driving sales, optimizing stock, and supporting merchandising strategies by providing accurate demand projections based on historical data, market trends, consumer insights, and cross-functional collaboration. The Demand Planner ensures that the right products are available at the right time, aligning with brand strategies, seasonal assortments, and financial targets.Key Responsibilities:Forecasting & Demand PlanningDevelop accurate short-term and long-term demand forecasts for assigned product categories using historical performance, trend analysis, POS data, and market insights.Continuously review forecast accuracy and adjust projections based on sell-through performance, market changes, promotional activity, and inventory constraints.Support seasonal buying and assortment planning with data-driven demand projections.Prepare rolling forecasts and monthly Demand Review presentations for S&OP cycles.Inventory & Stock ManagementMonitor inventory levels across all stores, warehouses, and online channels to prevent stock-outs, overstock, and aged inventory.Recommend optimal replenishment strategies based on category performance, seasonality, and product lifecycle.Coordinate with logistics, buying, and warehouse teams to ensure timely product availability and correct allocation.Track and manage slow-moving stock and propose markdowns, promotions, or reallocation to maximize sell-through.Data Analysis & ReportingAnalyze sales trends, customer buying patterns, and market shifts to provide actionable insights.Prepare weekly, monthly, and seasonal reports on category performance, forecast accuracy, inventory health, sell-through, and stock cover.Cross-Functional CollaborationWork closely with Merchandising, Buying, Marketing, and Retail Operations to align on demand forecasts, promotional plans, product launches, and replenishment strategies.Participate in S&OP and commercial meetings to present data-driven insights and recommendations.Product Lifecycle & Category SupportSupport the full product lifecycle from initial forecasting to end-of-season planning.Monitor new product launches and evaluate performance against expectations.Provide recommendations for assortment optimization based on sales, customer preferences, and market trends.Manage exit strategies for end-of-life products to minimize aging and maximize margin recovery.Requirements:Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain or related field.3+ years of experience in demand planning, forecasting, merchandising, or inventory management within fashion, retail, or FMCG industries.Strong understanding of fashion seasonality, product lifecycles, and retail dynamics.Proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, forecasting models).Experience with planning tools such as SAP, Oracle, JDA or similar.Strong analytical and data modeling skills.Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.High attention to detail with the ability to manage large data sets.Proactive, organized, and results-driven personality.If you think you are fit for this job position, then apply right away.
