ABOUT THE ROLETaking ownership of the Demand Planning function, including a dedicated and passionate team, the role will assess opportunities for process optimisation, and execute on a supply chain roadmap that will deliver improved outcomes across all key metrics. Core to the role will be:• Lead the development and ownership of demand forecasts across key product categories• Collaborate cross-functionally with sales, marketing, finance, and supply teams to deliver an integrated S&OP process• Support system and process improvements as part of the broader supply chain transformationare effectively resolved• Lead, motivate and develop the demand planning team to deliver capability upliftABOUT THE PERSONThough traditionally open on applicant's background, in this instance due to the criticality of both the role and its outcomes our client its taking a targeted approach towards attracting Demand leaders specifically from within the FMCG sector that bring a strong understanding of supermarket supply chain. What sets the successful applicant apart will be their ability to build relationships that create a genuine partnership with the commercial function, along with a track record in change management and people leadership.
