Ignite has partnered with an industrial leader in essential flow control technologies serving the energy and process industries. With operations in over 50 countries, this business works closely with clients to improve operational safety, reduce downtime, increase efficiency, and meet evolving environmental standards.Due to growing project demands, they are seeking a Procurement Specialist, responsible for providing procurement support to operational sites, covering direct spend materials, components, and subcontract services.This role provides local sourcing, RFQ (Request for Quotation) services, and supplier troubleshooting, working closely with planning and operations teams.Responsibilities Manage the full procurement process for materials, parts, and subcontracted services.Convert purchase requisitions into purchase orders using SAP.Oversee and support supplier performance for designated vendors.Follow up on purchase orders to ensure timely delivery.Collaborate with internal teams across planning, operations, logistics, and engineering.Maintain clear communication on order progress, delivery timelines, and supplier performance.Contribute to regional and global procurement projects and initiatives.Requirements Must have full working rights in AustraliaAt least 3–5 years of experience in procurement or supply chain roles within manufacturing or engineering settings.Proficiency in SAP or similar ERP platforms.Tertiary qualification in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.CIPS accreditation will be viewed favourably.Background in mechanical, industrial, or technical manufacturing industries is advantageous.For further information on this opportunity, please contact Marcelo 0405 909 447, or send an email enquiry to marcelo.reyes@igniteco.com Ignite is Australia's preferred partner in recruitment and technology solutions across private and public sectors.
