Job Description

Job PurposeThe Demand & Supply Coordinator is responsible for balancing demand and supply planning activities to ensure product availability, optimize inventory levels, and support smooth trading operations. This role plays a key part in coordinating between sales, procurement, logistics, and finance to ensure timely and cost-efficient product flow within the business.Key Responsibilities: Demand PlanningCollect, consolidate, and analyze sales forecasts from sales teams, brand managers, and market data.Monitor sales trends, seasonality, and promotional activities to generate accurate demand forecasts.Coordinate with sales teams & brand managers to align forecasts with market intelligence and business objectives.Identify potential demand fluctuations and propose proactive inventory or procurement actions.Supply PlanningDevelop and maintain supply plans based on demand forecasts, stock levels, and supplier lead times.Ensure product availability by coordinating with suppliers, procurement, and logistics teams.Monitor and manage purchase orders to ensure timely replenishment and avoid stock outs or overstocking.Track supplier performance (lead times, delivery accuracy, quality issues, etc.) and escalate delays. Inventory ManagementMaintain optimal inventory levels to meet demand while minimizing carrying costs.Monitor stock aging, shelf life, and product expiry — especially critical for perishable goods.Coordinate with warehouse and logistics to ensure proper storage and handling conditions.Support periodic stock counts and reconciliation processes.Coordination & CommunicationServe as a central communication point between sales, brand managers ,procurement, logistics, and finance teams.Support order management by verifying product availability and coordinating delivery schedules.Prepare regular reports on forecast accuracy, inventory status, and supply performance.Assist in resolving supply chain disruptions, shortages, or delays. Data & Process ManagementMaintain accurate data in ERP or planning systems ; item master, forecast updates, PO tracking.Analyze supply chain KPIs and recommend process improvements.Support the implementation of demand planning tools or system enhancements.Qualifications & SkillsEducation:Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, or related field.Experience:2–5 years of experience in demand/supply planning, preferably in food & beverage or FMCG trading.Experience with ERP systems and advanced Excel.Skills:Strong analytical and forecasting abilities.Excellent coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills.Understanding of import/export processes and shelf-life management for F&B products.Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills.
