A recognized leader in rural healthcare, Brightshores Health System (Brightshores) services a large geographical area surrounding Lake Huron and Georgian Bay.Reporting to the Vice President, Finance and Development & CFO, the Deputy Chief Financial Officer provides oversight and direction for the Finance, Supply Chain, and Decision Support. Leading all aspects of financial planning, reporting, and management, the Deputy CFO will facilitate processes for the development and analysis of operational and capital budgets, the development of related policies and practices, and will ensure timely and accurate reporting of financial and statistical data, supporting operations and decision making. This position provides key leadership and direction based on the use of data and analytics to inform health service planning, quality, financial activities, and decision-making. The Deputy CFO is an effective problem solver and team leader, working collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders.The ideal candidate is a strategic leader who does not shy away from digging into key details and deliverables, blending astute financial acumen with a forward-thinking approach. With a keen eye for cost-effective solutions, they will have an ability to see opportunities that extend beyond immediate needs. Most importantly, they are a strong communicator and collaborator, adept at engaging both internal stakeholders and external partners in fostering a culture of accountability around the organization’s finances.
