We enable opportunities through aviation, making connections, opening doors and enabling choices in people’s lives.[What you will be working on]As a deputy manager in the Airport Planning team within CAAS’ Airport Development & Planning (ADP) Division, you will be involved in the oversight of the planning of infrastructure in Changi and Seletar Airports. To this end, you will: Support senior officers and work closely with the airport operator and key stakeholders in the aviation community, government agencies, and/or consultants to review airport land use planning and related proposals, as well as ensure proper project planning, management and timely completion of airport infrastructure design development studies Participate in the review of specific areas of airport infrastructure design, e.g. passenger terminal building, automated passenger mover system, baggage handling system, apron/aircraft manoeuvring area, etc.In addition to the above, you will need to provide administrative support towards the tracking and management of the division’s budget, invoice processing, training coordination, ensuring proper knowledge management, and general office management/supplies procurement.[What we are looking for]Training in Engineering or relevant qualification related to planning/developmentPreferably 2 years or more of relevant working experienceSelf-motivated, driven, resourceful, a good team player and ability to multi-taskGood verbal, written communication and interpersonal skillsGood conceptual and analytical thinking skillsPrior airport/airfield related experience and/or planning of infrastructure projects will be an advantageKnowledge of AutoCAD, GIS and/or BIM will be an advantageYour appointment designation will be commensurate with your experience. Successful candidates will be offered a 3-year contract in the first instance and may be considered for placement on a permanent tenure in subsequent renewal.
