Job Description

My Client, a Global Financial Services company wants to appoint a Senior Associate to their Derivatives Operations to join their Fund Administration team.About the RoleThis role is pivotal in overseeing critical functions in the post-trade derivatives lifecycle, ensuring seamless operations and supporting strategic initiatives across listed and OTC derivatives. They have a 4 day in the office hybrid arrangement.ResponsibilitiesOversee end-to-end post-trade derivatives processing, including trade capture, lifecycle events, reconciliations, and settlements.Supervise collateral management and variation margining processes in line with ISDA/CSA terms.Lead and mentor operational teams across multiple locations, ensuring service level agreements and key performance indicators are consistently met.Engage with clients, brokers, and counterparties to manage onboarding, fund launches, and resolve escalated operational issues.Implement and maintain robust internal controls while ensuring compliance with regulatory frameworks such as EMIR, Dodd-Frank, and UMR.QualificationsExperience in derivatives operations, fund administration, or investment operations, with in-depth knowledge of OTC and listed derivatives.Strong understanding of trade lifecycle processes, margining, collateral workflows, and fund accounting principles.Demonstrated ability to manage operational teams and complex workflows effectively.Proficiency with derivatives systems such as Murex, Calypso, MarkitSERV, and reconciliation tools.Exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and a proactive, solutions-oriented mindset.Required SkillsExperience in derivatives operations, fund administration, or investment operations.In-depth knowledge of OTC and listed derivatives.Strong understanding of trade lifecycle processes.Proficiency with derivatives systems.Preferred SkillsExperience with collateral management and variation margining processes.Ability to manage operational teams effectively.Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.Don't hesitate to contact me if you are interested in this position.
