Architectural Designer – Multi-Residential / Mixed Use (DA Focus)We’re looking for an architectural designer to work directly with our Directors on early concept design and DA delivery for major multi-residential and mixed-use projects. You must be able to think spatially, sketch ideas, test options fast, and then convert them into resolved DA-level work.What You’ll DoContribute to concept design: form, massing, façade ideas, spatial logicDevelop apartment layouts & planning optionsShape façades and design detailsPrepare solar access & shadow studiesTest ADG compliance (min sizes, cross-vent, separation, solar etc)Produce DA-level drawings + schedules (Revit)Translate hand sketches into functional design quicklyWhat You MUST Have5+ years Australian experience on multi-residential or mixed-use DA submissionsStrong understanding of the ADG and applying it in real projectsExcellent Revit skillsAbility to design independently and problem-solveSolid understanding of construction + façade logicThis Role Is NOT forgraduates or juniorsapplicants without Australian DA experience in multi unit or mixed use projectsoverseas applicants or recruitersdrafting-only backgroundsIf you don’t meet the above criteria, please do not apply.ApplySend CV + DA-focused portfolio (max 10MB) to reception@nordonjago.com Subject: “Designer Application”
