Sell.Learners develop skills progressively.They practise with structure.They complete work to a recognised standard.They build independence.We combine creativity with accredited qualifications and preparation for adulthood, employment and/or higher education.Our learners are not attending sessions to stay occupied. They are here to build real capability.A Structured Educational EnvironmentONELAB is not an activity-based setting.We do not deliver isolated creative tasks. Every session forms part of a coherent curriculum designed to build knowledge, skill and independence over time.Skills are introduced deliberately.Practised repeatedly.Refined through feedback.Assessed against clear standards.Applied beyond the studio.Creativity is valued.Completion and progression are essential.The RoleThe Design Assistant plays a vital role in supporting structured curriculum delivery within a studio-based creative SEND environment.You will:Support learners during design and qualification sessionsReinforce skill development through guided practiceHelp maintain focus, structure and task completionSupport adaptive approaches aligned to individual learner needsContribute to progress tracking and documentationAssist in preparing learners for accredited outcomesMaintain safeguarding vigilance at all timesThis is an educational role requiring professionalism, consistency and strong communication.
