A company with design at the core of its heart and hosts a dedicated in-house studio that is constantly at work to make the brand stand out from the rest.If you have proven experience and a consistent track record of outstanding editorial and presentation design, and strong brand sensibilities then we have an exciting opportunity for you to join in a freelance capacity in a rolling contract capacity. The Creative Studio sits within the Brand team – as a (mid-level) Designer, you will:Apply your strong understanding of branding, typography, layout, and data visualisation skills, to create compelling designs across a range of editorial, presentation and report formats.Bring dynamism to visuals through motion design in appropriate channels.Have exceptional attention to detail and a passion for making information look beautiful.As a Designer, you will work alongside a team of other designers and report directly to the Design Director. The ability to handle multiple projects and outstanding attention to detail is crucial.Your craftA true passion for a design, you bring unexpected ideas to the table with high quality brand identity environment.An incredible eye for detail, you take pride in creating work to a very high standard.You have a high level of proficiency in all relevant software (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, AfterEffects and presentation software - PPT).You have a portfolio that demonstrates a proven track record in creating stunning corporate communications in brochures and editorial, presentations and motion design. Working with the Design Director you can generate new ideas or concepts.You follow trends, but most importantly, you know when to use them.You can create design concepts for print and digital with a particular focus on reports and financial dataYou ideally have a working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Powerpoint, Excel)Note: It is vital that you have a portfolio of relevant work that you can present at the interview.Experience requiredCirca 2-6 years of experience as a Designer or similar role.Experience working in corporate design environment You can confidently present to clients and senior stakeholders with clarity and impact.You are comfortable and engaged in meetings and workshops and can challenge a brief and/or client, to get to the best solution.A strong verbal and written communicator, you are good with people and highly interactive.You are no stranger to shifting priorities and timescales and can keep cool when the pressure is on.TeamYou inspire your teammates and keen to assist them to realise their potential.Ability to work independently and part of a team.
