DEKKO Legacy Group is looking for Designer / Sr. Fashion DesignerJob Description / ResponsibilityLead the design of formal trousers for the UK market and performance wear for the Canadian market, ensuring alignment with customer expectations, market trends, and brand identity.Source fabrics directly from mills and establish strong relationships with suppliers for trims and materials. Ensure that all sourced fabrics meet quality and performance standards.Manage and mentor a team of junior designers, providing guidance, feedback, and support to help them grow professionally.Collaborate directly with buyers, presenting design concepts, samples, and specifications. Ensure client requirements and deadlines are met.Contribute to the development of brand identity and storytelling for each collection, ensuring designs communicate a strong narrative that resonates with target customers.Work on presentations for clients and internal stakeholders, and support the development of marketing tools and promotional materials.Utilize 3D design software (e.g., Clo3D, Gerber) to create virtual prototypes and presentations where applicable.Stay up to date with current fashion trends and competitors in the UK and Canadian markets. Integrate these insights into design development.Work closely with the production and quality control teams to ensure designs meet the highest standards of quality and are produced within budget and timelines.Educational RequirementsBachelor of Science (BSc) in Fashion DesigningSkills Required: Fashion Design, Fabric Sourcing, GerberExperience Requirements7 to 9 year(s)The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):Garments,Group of CompaniesAdditional RequirementsMinimum of 7 years of experience in fashion design, with a focus on men`s apparel, including formal wear and performance wear.Strong experience in sourcing fabrics and trims directly from mills and suppliers.Proven ability to work with both formal trousers and performance wear categories.Experience in managing and mentoring a design team.Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present designs to buyers and key stakeholders.Proficiency in 3D design software (e.g., Clo3D, Gerber, etc.).Strong knowledge of branding, storytelling, and marketing tools.Solid understanding of garment construction and technical design.Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.Knowledge of UK and Canadian fashion markets is a plus.Job LocationDhaka (Uttara)
