Job Description

Location- Paris, France Position OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic L1 Deskside Support technician to join our IT team. The ideal candidate will provide first-level technical support for hardware and software issues, ensuring smooth and efficient resolution of user problems.Key ResponsibilitiesRespond to and resolve user issues via phone, email, or in-person visits.Troubleshoot hardware and software problems on desktops, laptops, printers, and other peripherals.Assist with the installation, configuration, and maintenance of computer systems.Document and track issues in the IT ticketing system, ensuring timely follow-up and closure.Provide support for remote users and ensure connectivity to the network and systems.Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as software updates, patches, and backups.Collaborate with other IT team members to escalate and resolve complex issues.Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction through prompt and efficient support.English knowledge is a mustQualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent; IT-related certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified Professional) are a plus.Proven experience in a technical support role, preferably in a deskside support capacity.Strong knowledge of Windows and macOS operating systems, as well as common software applications.Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.Customer-oriented mindset with a focus on delivering high-quality support.Working ConditionsOffice-based position with occasional requirements for remote support.May require lifting and moving of computer hardware and peripherals.Flexibility to work outside of regular business hours, if needed.
