The position involves designing, developing, and maintaining software systems and digital solutions aligned with the Bank’s business objectives. The selected individual will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver efficient, secure, and innovative applications supporting the Bank’s digital transformation initiatives.Key Responsibilities:Develop, test, and deploy software applications, APIs, and tools as per business requirements.Maintain and enhance existing systems to ensure performance, scalability, and reliability.Collaborate with business analysts and other stakeholders to define, design, and deliver new features.Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade applications to ensure smooth operation and user satisfaction.Ensure adherence to secure coding practices, performance standards, and proper documentation.Participate in system design reviews, code reviews, and quality assurance processes.Contribute to process automation, system integration, and digital banking projects.Hands-on experience in deploying applications to Google Play Store and Apple App Store, ensuring compliance with respective platform guidelines.Keep abreast of emerging technologies and propose innovative solutions to improve system efficiency.Educational RequirementsBachelor of Science (BSc) in Computer Science & EngineeringBachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science/ Engineering, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related discipline with no Third Division/ Class in any academic career from reputed university.Experience Requirements3 to 6 year(s)Additional RequirementsProven experience in software development using technologies such as .NET, Java, PHP, Python, C# or equivalent.· Strong knowledge of databases (SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL).Hands-on experience with API integration, RESTful web services, and version control systems (e.g., Git).Familiarity with SDLC, agile development methodologies, and DevOps tools is an advantage.Ability to work independently or within a team under tight deadlines in a dynamic environment.3–6 years of relevant experience in software development, system integration, fintech solutions, or IT support preferred. Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and debugging skills.Strong communication and teamwork abilities.Commitment to continuous learning, innovation, and professional development.Knowledge of secure coding, data handling, and cloud platforms will be an added advantage.
