One of our flagship products is Hikaflow, an AI-powered engineering platform that automates code reviews, detects security issues, generates documentation, and provides deep engineering intelligence to help teams ship faster and with higher quality.At Discoursefy, we experiment rapidly, ship ambitious products, and work closely with early adopters to refine the future of developer productivity.Role Description — Developer Researcher (Full-Time Internship, Unpaid)This is a full-time internship for a Developer Researcher who will work closely with the team to evaluate Hikaflow, stress-test its features, and help us understand how developers interact with AI tooling.You will spend your time using Hikaflow across real and simulated repositories, identifying friction points, conducting workflow research, and producing insight reports that directly inform product decisions. The role is ideal for someone excited about software engineering, developer tools, and early-stage AI products.This position is hands-on, fast-paced, and offers direct exposure to product, engineering, and startup decision-making.ResponsibilitiesUse Hikaflow daily to test features, code review automation, security scans, and onboarding workflowsIdentify bugs, UX friction, edge cases, and gaps in developer experienceAnalyze modern engineering workflows and summarize best practicesConduct competitive research on AI code review and DevTools solutionsWrite structured feedback reports, feature evaluations, and brief technical summariesWork closely with engineering and product teams to share insightsDocument findings, user behaviors, and improvement opportunitiesQualificationsStrong interest in software engineering, AI tools, and developer productivityBasic familiarity with GitHub, version control, or coding workflowsAnalytical mindset with the ability to study and break down technical processesClear communication and documentation skillsCuriosity, initiative, and a willingness to experiment with new tools(Preferred) Experience in programming or contributing to repositories(Preferred) Knowledge of code review, debugging, or DevOps workflowsDetailsType: Full-time internshipCompensation: UnpaidLocation: RemoteStart Date: ImmediateIf you're passionate about improving how developers build software and want meaningful experience working with a real AI dev tool, we’d love to hear from you.
