For a better game — and working life.Development Manager, Common Gaming PlatformsWe are seeking a Development Manager to take a key role in driving the development of our key products of our Common Gaming Platforms. This role is truly multifaceted and offers a unique opportunity to work at the forefront of innovative product development within the gaming domain. You will join a well-established and highly skilled development team that is responsible for several existing products while also driving brand-new product initiatives. This role places you right at the center of shaping and productizing new solutions.As a Development Manager, you will combine strategic product ownership with a strong technical perspective, translating complex domain knowledge into a compelling product vision. In this role, you will have a key role in forming the product roadmap, gathering and refine insights from stakeholders, and building a deep understanding of the gaming domain — from business needs to the technical foundations of our solutions. You will collaborate closely with business stakeholders, Veikkaus leadership, domain specialists, developers, and other cross-functional partners to identify business-driven development needs and guide them forward in line with shared goals.Overall, this is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys a broad, hands-on role at the intersection of technology, product development, and collaboration—someone who wants to make a real mark in building and productizing next-generation gaming platform solutions.Key responsibilitiesDevelop a deep understanding of the domains your development team works in.Foster effective cooperation with internal stakeholders and external partners.Defining the team’s roadmap, managing the backlog.Manage incoming work requests, task scheduling, and prioritization.Oversee release planning, vulnerability management, and operational responsibilities.You will thrive in this position, if you haveExperience as an agile product owner or in a similar agile leadership role.Strong technical background with software development experienceExcellent communication and stakeholder management skills.Fluent in English (spoken and written).Ability to inspire and guide a multidisciplinary team.Considered an advantageProficiency in Finnish, both spoken and writtenProgramming experienceProduct management backgroundFamiliarity with the gaming industryWe offerA workplace where the game evolves – and so do you.
