Location: BrusselsLanguage: English Employment Type: Freelance / EmploymentStart Date: ASAPAbout the mission:We are seeking a skilled DevOps / Release & Deployment Engineer to support and optimize the deployment and management of our information systems. Key responsibilities: - Manage software configuration, build processes, and continuous integration pipelines. - Establish and maintain procedures for the deployment of information systems. - Oversee development infrastructure, including application servers. - Assist and guide the development team in migrating applications to the cloud. - Manage automated CI/CD pipelines and ensure smooth release management. - Track, control, and follow up on tickets and release activities. - Analyze the performance of information systems to identify improvements. - Collaborate closely with business analysts, customers, users, project leaders, and developers to ensure efficient delivery. Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field. Knowledge & Skills: Strong expertise in software deployment and release management. Proficiency with build and deployment tools (e.g., Maven). Experience with ticketing systems (e.g., Jira). Hands-on knowledge of CI/CD automation tools (e.g., Bamboo, GitLab). Experience with cloud deployment (AWS). Familiarity with application servers (e.g., Tomcat). Understanding of relational database management systems (RDBMS). Specific Expertise Required: Minimum 3 years of experience in CI/CD processes. Minimum 2 years of experience in Release Management.
