Our Operations Engineering team is central to our manufacturing excellence, and this is your opportunity to play a key part in that success.The OpportunityWe are looking for a Die Setter to join our Hamilton Manufacturing team, reporting to the Die Setter Supervisor, and working closely with the Plastics Operations team, Tool &Die and Maintenance team to ensure our presses, moulds and die-sets are optimised and well maintained for high-quality, reliable production.In this hands-on, high-impact role you will be at the heart of our production set-up and change-over process, contributing to operational uptime, product quality and cost-efficiency.You WillCarry out safe, accurate tool changes and machine start-ups in line with production requirementsEnsure products meet or exceed quality specifications and assist with any product quality issuesApply strong troubleshooting skills to resolve die or machine challenges quickly and effectivelyContribute to Lean and SMED activities to reduce waste and optimise change-over timesPlan ahead, manage time effectively, and support flexibility across shifts where requiredPromote and maintain high standards of safety, housekeeping (6S), and teamworkActively support continuous improvement and problem-solving initiatives within the Plastics teamThe FitYou’re mechanically minded, proactive, and thrive in a busy manufacturing environment.
