Summary:Esquire Digital is seeking a highly-responsive and strategically minded Digital Marketing Account Manager to join our high-performing Client Services team. This individual will serve as the frontline relationship manager for high-value law firm clients, offering clear guidance, sharp marketing insight, end-to-end project management, and seamless execution — all without requiring oversight from senior leadership in daily operations.This role is ideal for someone adept at communicating digital marketing performance using client-friendly language while taking full ownership of the account’s health, performance, and growth trajectory.Responsibilities:Client Relationship ManagementAct as the primary point of contact for a portfolio of high-value law firm clients, with a focus on exceptional responsiveness and high-touch service.Lead client meetings (in-person and virtual) to present performance reports, discuss strategic initiatives, address challenges, and uncover opportunities for growth.Proactively manage client expectations, ensuring clear communication, timely responses, and a high level of responsiveness to their needs.Maintain an expert-level understanding of each client’s business needs, marketing goals, and current campaign performance.Proactively flag challenges, recommend adjustments, and provide strategic insight without escalation, when appropriate.Client Onboarding & Project ManagementAct as the accountable owner for client onboarding, owning the successful and timely launch of their new website and foundational marketing assets.Directly manage the initial project lifecycle from kickoff to launch. This includes defining project scope, creating detailed timelines, and coordinating all internal teams involved in execution.Partner with the Creative Director—who is accountable for the quality of all creative and technical assets—to ensure deliverables meet Esquire Digital’s highest standards while adhering to the project schedule.Maintain and communicate project status, risks, and dependencies to both the client and internal leadership, ensuring complete alignment and proactive problem-solving.Digital Marketing Performance OversightDevelop, manage, and communicate customized digital marketing strategies in collaboration with internal SEO and Content teams.Translate complex data into digestible recommendations for clients, ensuring clarity around KPIs, SEO trends, and performance metrics.Identify low-effort/high-impact improvements that align with client objectives and industry shifts.Monitor digital marketing performance, including website performance, local SEO health, social media & public relations and communicate changes clearly to clients.Ongoing Campaign ManagementOversee the timely execution of ongoing deliverables (e.g., page optimizations, content creation/uploads, social, technical fixes) by coordinating across internal teams.Drive client quarterly business reviews (QBRs), compile performance recaps, and recommend next-quarter action items.Maintain client roadmaps, project timelines, and deliverable trackers to ensure strategic plans stay on course.Cross-Functional CommunicationWork closely with internal stakeholders, including the Analytics, SEO, Paid Media, Content, and Creative teams.Serve as the client’s voice internally, balancing strategic requests with executional feasibility.Collaborate with leadership to identify patterns across accounts and contribute to scalable strategic playbooks.Sales & Retention SupportRecognize when clients may benefit from additional services (e.g., paid media, new practice area pages) and work with sales and leadership to recommend next steps.Support client retention efforts by continually delivering value and highlighting Esquire Digital’s unique strengths.Qualifications:5+ years of client-facing account management experience, preferably in an SEO or performance marketing roleDemonstrated experience in project managing complex digital projects, such as full website builds, from kickoff to completion.Deep understanding of digital marketing strategy... and a proven ability to communicate how marketing efforts translate into tangible business outcomes, such as client acquisition, revenue growth, and ROI.Excellent problem-solving skills, with a demonstrated ability to navigate ambiguity, think critically, and provide decisive recommendations for complex client challenges.Proven ability to manage multiple clients with confidence, grace under pressure, and superior responsiveness.Exceptional verbal and written communication skills — capable of leading both technical and non-technical conversations.Strong analytical mindset and familiarity with tools like Google Analytics 4, Google Tag Manager, Search Console, SEMrush, and Google Looker Studio.A high degree of autonomy and leadership initiative, with a strong history of successful collaboration with cross-functional leaders, particularly in creative and technical departments.Experience working with law firms or in the legal marketing space is a major plus.Ideal Candidate Traits:Excellent Communication: You believe that clear, concise, and highly-responsive communication is the foundation of any successful client relationship.
