Job Description

The Digital Transformation Manager plays a pivotal role in defining, implementing and driving adoption of the digital roadmap, for all commercial business processes. You will be responsible for establishing and managing a strategic partnership with the Business Units, the IT organization and other teams in Commercial Operations. The ideal candidate has a strong background in system integration, digital transformation and technology solutions. Together with their team they will ensure cross-functional collaboration to align digital initiatives with business objectives. The location for this function is Barco Kortrijk.Essential Duties And ResponsibilitiesDevelop and execute a comprehensive digital roadmap that aligns with the organization's goals and objectives, reviewing existing processes and new business models and platforms.Act as the point of contact and as Business Process Owner for commercial processes from lead capturing till revenue generation.Lead and mentor a team of business process experts, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.Oversee the design, implementation, and optimization of digital solutions, ensuring they meet user needs and business requirements.Collaborate with stakeholders across the organization to identify opportunities for digital transformation and process improvement; d rive uniformity and consistency in processes across different business units and regions.Monitor industry trends and emerging technologies to inform strategic decision-making and maintain a competitive edge.Monitor the performance and adoption of the digital solutions, adjusting as necessary to optimize its effectiveness.Allocate resources, manage budgets, and mitigate risks associated with the different digital projects.Effectively communicate project updates, challenges, and successes to diverse audiences. QualificationsMaster’s degree in business, computer science, engineering or similar discipline5+ years of proven, progressive experience in a complex and fast-paced environment.Track record of success in working with and leading change, leading improvement of the business process required to scale the business.Must be process and metrics oriented, well-organized, and be highly motivated, self-directed with the ability and desire to have an impact on an organization.Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders and customers while maintaining clear lines of communication with individuals based on a high degree of trust and credibility.Critical thinking and creative problem-solving skills combined with sound judgment.Knowledge of or experience with CRM packages and/or ERP systems is an advantage.Experience with program and/or project management methodologies is an advantage.Comfortable with ambiguity and uncertainty; the ability to adapt nimbly and lead others through complex situations.
