Within the Digital Technologies function, we are looking for a talented and proactive resource to join the team.The Digital Transformation Manager is a key role to support the delivery of the Group strategic objectives related to development and scale-up of digital tools, operational excellence and technology consolidation. The job holder will contribute to the worldwide digital initiatives targeting to improve the digital maturity of the business units within Generali Group, will support the execution of the local digital strategies in collaboration with the respected functions, and will contribute to the group projects targeting to achieve the Operational Excellence with a focus on the Digital KPIs and leversKey responsibilities of the role will include working together with the Group Head office functions and Generali Business Units on:Digital maturity regular evaluation on the identified Key Digital Features and analysis performed with the Generali BUsSupporting the Business Units to deliver locally the digital strategy and transformation roadmap to achieve operational excellenceEnsure local digital capabilities are developed/ adopted accordingly to the Group IT & Ops StrategySupport the OpEx initiatives, with a particular focus on steering and monitoring the Digital OpEx KPIsPreparing and delivering project management documents and presentationsRequirementsOur ideal candidate will meet the following requirements:Excellent educational background, preferably in STEMAt least 7 years’ experience working in strategic or IT consultancy with a strong focus on insurance (knowledge of the core processes is required), preferably in international environmentsA good understanding of database fundamentals, agile methodologies, software and web development methodologiesProficiency on digital technologies and trendsInterest and passion for innovation and disruptive technologiesProject management skills, including the ability to deal with multiple projects simultaneouslyFluent EnglishSoft Skills:Ability to work in a team, managing different aspects/concepts simultaneously and experience in a managerial roleStrong communication skills, including the capacity to influence stakeholders using business acumenHigh attention to detail and ability to produce high quality deliverables within tight timescalesProactivity and adaptabilityAnalytical and critical thinkingStrong motivationCompany ProfileGenerali Group Head Office is the guidelining unit of the Generali Group, one of the largest global insurance and asset management providers.
