Qiddiya Investment Company is at the forefront of transforming Saudi Arabia's entertainment and tourism landscape, and we are seeking a strategic Director - Development to lead this exciting journey. In this key role, you will be responsible for overseeing the development of our various projects, ensuring they are executed in alignment with the company's strategic vision and operational excellence.The Director - Development will be responsible for overseeing the development of the brief, Master planning, Design and Construction of all assets and plots contained within the Southern district and precincts. They will maintain accountability for governance, compliance and commercial / cost management for all projects that are delivered within their geographical remit. They will be responsible for the implementation of the Target Operating Model and Stage Gate Reviews across their districts.Key ResponsibilitiesOversee the preparation of business case, planning, design, logistics, implementation, stakeholder engagement and management, project controls, operator handover and closeout. Lead QIC oversight and Master Developer role with regards to 3rd party developments within the DistrictReview and update development brief outlining district scope including objectives, timing and budget to guide the concept's overall directionConduct site visits, respond to queries, assess and review bids; technical and commercial to ensure successful delivery of all assetsEngage with key stakeholders, government entities, third-party purchasers and developers, operators and other Qiddiya districts teamsManage the achievement of the team's objectives through effective leadership by setting individual objectives, managing performance and developing the team to maximize performanceProvide overall direction and guidance to mentor, coach, motivate and challenge team players providing opportunities for growth and development including Saudi GraduatesRequirementsBachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field (Master's degree preferred)Minimum of 12-15 years of experience in large-scale project management and real estate developmentProven track record in leading and delivering complex development projectsStrong understanding of financial management, risk assessment, and compliance regulationsExceptional leadership and team management skillsExcellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal abilitiesProficiency in project management software and analysis toolsAbility to adapt and respond to changing project dynamics with effective solutions
