In this newly created leadership position, you’ll have the opportunity to help shape the future of primary healthcare in Western Victoria.The OpportunityWe’re looking for a dynamic and experienced leader to step into the newly created role of Director Governance and Performance Reporting. This hands-on leadership position will guide a dedicated small team and play a key role within our senior leadership group. You’ll be responsible for driving excellence in governance, risk, quality and performance reporting - ensuring our organisation operates with integrity, transparency and accountability.You will play a central role in ensuring our systems and practices are robust, compliant, and strategically aligned. Working closely with the Executive Leadership Team, you will lead planning and change implementation to ensure WVPHN can effectively respond to the reform and continue to deliver high-quality, community-focused healthcare outcomes.This role offers the opportunity to influence organisational direction, support ethical leadership, and embed a culture of continuous improvement and accountability. Key ResponsibilitiesFoster a culture of collaboration, innovation and accountabilityLead strategic governance, risk management, internal audit and performance reporting functions.Lead internal and board governance functions, including potential Company Secretary dutiesProvide strategic oversight of clinical governance, privacy and business continuity planning.Develop and implement integrated planning frameworks and lead the Annual Operating Plan.Coordinate WVPHN’s organisational response to PHN governance reform, including change management.Deliver expert advice to the Executive and Board and support informed decision-making.Represent WVPHN in national and state PHN working groups.Ensure compliance with accreditation, legal and regulatory requirements.About youYou are a seasoned leader with a strong track record in governance, risk, and performance reporting. You bring strategic insight, analytical acumen, and a collaborative approach to leadership.
