Stacey Danley at Aplin has partnered with a multinational manufacturing organization in the search for a Director of Human Resources. Based out of the Winnipeg facility, the successful candidate will shape people strategy at a dynamic, growth-focused site. Key Responsibilities Strategic Leadership & PartnershipServe as the primary HR leader for the site, shaping and executing people strategies aligned with business goals.Work alongside the leadership team to influence workforce planning, business performance, and long-term priorities.Organizational Effectiveness & ChangeLead site-level change initiatives and continuous improvement efforts.Diagnose organizational issues and implement solutions to strengthen communication, alignment, and collaboration.Support evolving organizational structures, processes, and workforce design.Leadership Development & Talent ManagementCoach leaders to build capability and drive performance.Lead talent reviews, performance management, succession planning, and development planning.Identify and develop high-potential talent for critical roles.Talent Acquisition & Workforce PlanningOversee hiring strategies and workforce planning to ensure the right talent is in place.Partner with leaders to address talent gaps through hiring, development, or internal movement.Support career development and role alignment conversations.Employee Engagement & RelationsLead engagement initiatives to strengthen culture, retention, and morale.Foster a positive employee relations environment and collaborate on complex ER matters.Provide balanced guidance on performance management, discipline, and transitions.Total Rewards & HR OperationsPartner with Compensation to ensure fair and market-aligned practices.Support annual salary planning and year-end cycles.Ensure HR processes, documentation, and compliance requirements are met.What You Bring10+ years of progressive HR experience, including 5+ years leading HR teams.Previous experience in a manufacturing environment.Proven ability to influence senior leadership, drive culture, and lead HR strategy in a fast-moving, matrixed organization.Strong business acumen, analytical capability, and comfort making decisions in complex situations.Exceptional coaching, communication, relationship-building, and change-leadership skills.Bachelor’s degree and CPHR designation (or equivalent)At Aplin — together with our brands CompuStaff and Impact Recruitment — we connect great people with great organizations across North America.
