SummaryThe Tokyo American Club is hiring a Head of Aquatics to lead swim programs, ensure safety, and manage a team of 10 staff members. The role requires expertise in water safety, swim education, and leadership.Key Qualifications• Bachelor's degree in Recreation Management, Physical Education, or a related field preferred.• A minimum of three years of experience in pool management or a related field.• Must be certified in first aid, CPR and lifesaving courses from a recognized Life Guarding Association.• Strong knowledge of pool equipment and maintenance, and safety protocols.• Proven track records and experience in managing and the budget for operation.• Ability to work flexible hours, including early mornings, evenings, weekends and national holidays.• Strong leadership, communication and people skills required. History of working in any hospitality field is a plus.• Advanced level or above English both writing and speaking. Basic Japanese is a plus.• Hands-on experience of MS Office applications.Responsibility- Responsible for the efficient and effective operation of the aquatics facilities.- Recruit and train lifeguards and pool office staff- Implement strategies to enhance the overall member experience.- Develop and enhance coach and oversee swim programs and events for club members of all ages.- Maintain pool cleanliness, safety, and upkeep of all pool equipment and facilities.- Develop and control annual budget for the aquatics department.Working Hours5days / week Actual 7.5 hrs/day between 5:30am-22:15pm (Including weekends/ National holidays)Compensation and Benefits¥7,000,000 - ¥7,000,000 / Annual (Bonus & Benefits Excluded)Health insurance, Pension, Employment insurance, Industrial accident insuranceRetirement AllowanceGroup Life InsuranceStaff Canteen at a subsidized priceCommuting allowance (with tax-free upper limit)Annual Health CheckAnnual Employee Recognition Party
